The Medicine Shield

Through the years as we begin our growth here on Earth, we acquire certain gifts that we receive through lessons learned, and strength of character developed.

As we face difficulty and trauma in life, if we look closely, we see certain animals that “arrive” at certain times to just “be” whom they are and offer their assistance to us.

As we develop and grow through the experiences, and we recognize the gift of the creature teacher, we accept the gift onto our own personal medicine shield of life.

It is in this way we develop The Medicine Shield. It is a representation of our guides and protectors along the way.

Currently, my personal medicine shield has acquired twenty-two creatures of assistance throughout my life.
